THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a COMPUTER ASSISTANT, Position Description Number D1074000 and is part of the KS AASF 1, National Guard. Military Grades: E-3 through E-8 or WO1 through CW3 Compatible Military Assignments: Immaterial GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, training, or education which demonstrates the applicant's ability to follow directions, procedures, or systematic work methods which gives evidence of the candidate's ability to perform this work. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level. Extensive knowledge of computer equipment, internal computer processes, and application and utility programs. Knowledge of a wide range of analytical and diagnostic methods, procedures, and principles to identify system failures, take corrective actions to resume normal operations, and implement procedures to allow for partial use until problems are resolved. Skill and knowledge to independently apply Department of Defense, Army, National Guard Bureau, and local policies, standards, and directives to perform analysis, to evaluate the automated information systems requirements, and offer assistance and guidance to those who receive informational products.
