Supervisory Financial Program Manager

About the role

In this position you will work as a Branch Chief, Supervisory Financial Program Manager, of the Financial Systems Divisions, Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). The ideal candidate for this position will have experience managing administrative and operational financial management system programs; demonstrated experience providing expert and authoritative advice on financial management system program issues to senior officials. The qualification requirements listed below must be met by the closing date of this announcement. To qualify for this position at the GS-15 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following: Supporting, coordinating and managing numerous projects to support a financial management system program; including developing schedules, scope, resources, and assessment of risks, developing contingency and modernization plans as well as program; and Advising on data analytics and reporting analytics vision, overseeing the execution of the vision, and the delivery of reporting services; and Assessing program effectiveness or the improvement of complex program and management processes and systems encompassing difficult and diverse functions or issues that affect critical aspects of the major programs; and Providing authoritative guidance in the resolution of complex problems or issues impacting agency financial reporting.
