About the role
As a Partner Manager, India based in Gurgaon, you will be a key driver of Teads' growth in the Indian digital media market. Responsibilities
- Publisher Acquisition & BD (Primary Focus): Actively identify, prospect, pitch, and close high-value partnerships with premium digital publishers and media houses in India to expand Teads' inventory and market footprint.
- Commercial Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, renewal terms, and partnership extensions, securing optimal financial and operational terms for Teads.
- Strategic Partner Management: Manage post-contract executive relationships. Run structured business reviews (QBRs) and client sessions to understand their business priorities, site layouts, and growth roadmaps.
- Revenue Optimization & Upselling: Continuously analyze publisher performance trends to uncover actionable insights. Proactively pitch and upsell new products, including high-impact display, native formats, outstream video, and Connected TV (CTV) solutions.
- High-Level Integration Coordination: Oversee the onboarding and integration pipeline for your publisher portfolio, working closely with local and global Technical Solutions and Product teams who handle the deep-dive technical setups.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Demand Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Product teams to align supply capabilities with market demands and deliver tailored regional publisher strategies.
- What You'll Need to Be Successful
- Commercial Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or growth-focused partner management within digital advertising, digital publishing, ad tech, or a related sector.
- Market Knowledge: A strong understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, ad-tech monetization models, digital video, and the broader media landscape in India.
- BD Mindset: A track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing business-to-business agreements with external partners.
- Communication Excellence: Outgoing, empathetic, and persuasive communication skills, with comfort presenting complex monetization ideas and business reviews (QBRs) to C-level publisher executives.
- Analytical Ability: Strong skills in assessing performance metrics (e.g., CPMs, fill rates, RPMs) and transforming raw data into clear, client-ready insights (Excel/pivot tables are your friend).
- Work Style: An entrepreneurial spirit, high independence, and a collaborative team player mentality.
