The Research Support Assistant supports FT Specialist's research and editorial teams by ensuring timely and accurate transfer of content and data between internal systems. This role focuses on maintaining consistency and quality across platforms by replicating researcher-generated data and editorial content into designated content management systems, as well as providing support for basic data validation and some ad-hoc research tasks as required. This is a fixed-term role created to support increased workflow demands and system migration activities. The Manila team plays a key role in ensuring global content is accurately reflected across platforms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow structured processes.

Responsibilities

  • Data Entry and System Updates
  • Accurately transfer data entered by researchers from one content management system (CMS) to another.
  • Replicate editorial content (including stories and directory updates) from global teams into the designated CMS.
  • Ensure all transferred data and content is complete, correctly formatted, and consistent across systems.
  • Perform basic data cleansing and validation tasks, and conduct simple online research to verify or complete missing information in line with defined guidelines.
  • Quality Control and Accuracy
  • Review entries for errors, omissions, formatting issues, or duplication before and after transfer.
  • Follow established data entry standards and procedures to maintain data integrity.
  • Flag any discrepancies or issues to the relevant team for resolution.
  • Workflow Support
  • Work closely with researchers and editorial teams to ensure timely processing of content.
  • Prioritise tasks based on daily volume and deadlines.
  • Support high-volume data entry requirements during peak periods.
  • System and Process Adherence
  • Follow clear guidelines and workflows for content handling and system use.
  • Quickly learn and effectively use internal content management systems and tools.
  • Required skills and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred but not essential).
  • Previous experience in data entry, administrative support or working content management systems.
  • Familiarity with web-based systems.
  • Understanding of asset management industry (preferred but not essential)
