Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes applying analytical and evaluative methods to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Humanitarian Assistance (HA) and Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) programs. This includes experience reviewing, analyzing, and providing financial oversight for program plans and investments under the Overseas Humanitarian, Disaster, and Civic Aid (OHDACA) appropriation, developing and implementing internal controls to mitigate risks and manage appropriated funds, and serving as a program advisor by monitoring project life-cycles, conducting training assessments, and briefing senior leadership to ensure strategic security assistance goals are successfully met.
