- Recommend and implement adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and mobility strategies to enhance safety and function.
- Participate in care conferences, behavior support planning, and interdisciplinary rounds to support resident-centered outcomes.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, outcome tracking, and required reporting in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
- Support staff education, coaching, and supervision related to safe mobility techniques, therapeutic approaches, and behavioral support strategies.
- What You Bring
- Graduate of an approved Canadian Physiotherapy program.
- Active registration and good standing with the Alberta College of Physiotherapists.
- Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions, dementia, or complex behavioral needs is preferred.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed and recovery-oriented care approaches is an asset.
- Experience with MDS/RAI assessments and familiarity with LTC or supportive living environments is preferred.
- AADL Authorizer status and strong interdisciplinary collaboration, communication, and clinical reasoning skills are considered assets.
