Responsibilities

  • You will support Technology & Product teams, as well as external suppliers to implement highly reliable platforms services, with adequate environments and pipelines for change delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to set a clear operational vision, define objectives, and motivate high‑performing teams, fostering a strong culture of collaboration across the Sky Group, including leading virtual teams in a high‑profile, fast‑paced, multi‑country environment.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering service excellence while managing competing priorities, addressing immediate risks, and handling multiple complex situations simultaneously in a Service Reliability or Service Operations environment.
  • Strong technical capability, with comfort working across a wide range of technologies and a deep understanding of complex architectures and platforms underpinning large‑scale services, including DevOps, Agile and SRE practices.
  • Deep understanding of Service Management methodologies, including Change, Incident and Problem Management, Service Introduction and Service Assurance, with ITIL Foundation certification considered mandatory.

You are part of Global Service & Reliability leadership teams, working in partnership with Group Technology and Group Product functions, ensuring protection of an excellent customer experience. You'll work with country Group Directors, offering them a helicopter view of how we're enabling the safe delivery of safe change and platform reliability and will work with different teams to mitigate risk. You'll lead a strong team of Change Analysts to deliver this and work with your peers - in Incident and Assurance to together drive service excellence across the organisation For this role we offer the hybrid working approach with 2 days a week onsite in Livingston or Leeds or London, Osterley office.
