  • Essential Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
  • Oversees and facilitates all academic initiatives for scholarly activity, faculty development, and community medicine programs.
  • Manages the planning, organizing and execution of the annual GME Research Day.
  • Coordinates faculty development programming, workshops, and Morbidity and Mortality (M&M) educational sessions.
  • Monitors and tracks institutional academic GME data and reporting metrics; identifies opportunities to improve GME processes.
  • Prepares summaries and formal reports related to academic and scholarly initiatives for presentation to senior leadership.
  • Tracks AMA course completion, ensures compliance, and follows up with trainees within GME.
  • Supports coordination of institutional academic projects and cross departmental initiatives.
  • Provides operational support to GMEC subcommittees, including scheduling and action item tracking.
  • Maintains and updates annual faculty CVs for all GME teaching faculty.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
