As Teneo continues to grow its presence across the Greater Bay area, we are seeking a Vice President to join their Strategy and Communications team in Hong Kong SAR. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, commercially minded communications professional to build a long‑term career within a global advisory firm, working at the intersection of corporate reputation, financial communications, and complex stakeholder environments. Based in Hong Kong SAR, this role will support clients across Greater China and the wider Asia Pacific region, with a strong emphasis on integrated corporate communications, financial communications, and investor‑facing mandates. The successful candidate will bring experience advising senior leaders on market‑sensitive issues, financial narratives, and reputational risk. A Vice President at Teneo is a core member of our account teams, responsible for helping execute strategic communications programmes in support of Teneo's clients. You will play a pivotal role in providing the highest quality of service to our clients and act as the day-to-day lead for all client projects and oversee team delivery. As a Vice President, you will advise business leaders and CEOs on all aspects of integrated communications. This role is part of a thriving team advising high-profile clients on how to create effective narratives, manage reputation, engage with key audiences, and tell proactive stories which support clients' strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• As a Vice President within Teneo's Strategy and Communications team in Hong Kong SAR, your role will include:
• Horizon scanning and strategic advisory: Proactively monitor geopolitical, macroeconomic, regulatory, and market developments relevant to Hong Kong SAR and Greater China, providing actionable insight and senior‑level advisory to clients.
• Reputation management and advisory - supports the development of reputation management plans, advising clients on risks and issues affecting their organizations, and mitigation/ response strategies.
• Account management - oversee workstreams and deliverables on accounts, lead PMO activities, oversee and mentor Consultants, Associates, and Senior Associates. Support workflow management and quality assurance of deliverables.
• Thought leadership and content development : Actively contribute to the development of client thought leadership, corporate profiling, and executive positioning content, with an emphasis on clarity, credibility, and relevance to financial and corporate stakeholders.
• Business development support : Support senior team members with business development activity, including research, insight generation, and preparation of proposals and credentials. Begin building a personal network of professional relationships across the market.
• In addition, you will be expected to:
• Build strong client and team relationships, fostering long-term partnerships and seeking organic growth opportunities through new business proposal development;
• Create advisory notes for client leadership, addressing media narratives, financial markets insights, geopolitical risks, and reputational issues, while monitoring media coverage for clients and competitors;
• Provide support and insight to your client teams, proactively highlighting opportunities, and potential areas of concern;
• Build a strong network of effective relationships internally and externally;
• Proactively seek formal and informal learning and development opportunities to support your professional growth and contribute to the sharing of learnings across the wider team
• 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, financial communications, investor relations, media, or transaction advisory.
