Site Project Manager / Engineer

About the role

As a Project Manager, you will serve as the single point of accountability for delivering capital projects from concept through commissioning. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with business objectives-while influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving disciplined project performance. 🔹 Key Responsibilities Lead capital projects of varying size and complexity from concept development through commissioning Deliver projects that meet or exceed safety, cost, schedule, and quality objectives Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in partnership with engineering, operations, and site leadership Develop and execute comprehensive project plans , including cost estimates, schedules, and resource requirements Drive project performance , including cost forecasting, schedule management, and risk mitigation Serve as the primary project leader , aligning cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders to drive decisions Oversee engineering design, technical deliverables, and vendor performance to ensure quality execution Manage contractors and coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) activities Lead bid package development, contractor selection, and contracting strategies Manage scope changes through structured change management processes Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company project controls Champion constructability, value improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives 🔹 What You Bring Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or related field Experience leading capital projects in manufacturing, industrial, or plant environments Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence diverse stakeholders Strong understanding of project controls, including cost forecasting and schedule management Experience with risk management processes (e.g., risk registers, HAZOP/PHA integration) Working knowledge of process safety management (PSM) , MOC, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Experience in chemical, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environments
• Background in front-end loading (FEL) and stage-gate project development
• Familiarity with SAP Project Systems (PS) or similar project management tools
• Experience managing engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors
• Ability to develop and evaluate project business cases
