Position Summary This position is for an Implant Engineer that will support equipment and process capabilities of 300mm tools for the Implant department in Taylor, Texas. You will be a part of a team that focuses on installing and keeping tools running at peak efficiency; and driving yield improvements, reducing defects and optimizing operating costs. You'll also work to implement continuous improvement initiatives within the fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing environment. Role and Responsibilities Here's what you'll be responsible for: Leading the installation to qualify Implant equipment to meet Samsung production readiness and timelines while ensuring a defect-free installation.- Maintaining equipment uptime performance through real-time issue resolution (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, defects) and driving continuous improvements.- Revising and maintaining SOPs, recording daily tool activity, generating gameplans and capturing lessons learned to support our operations team. Collaborating with major equipment vendors (AMAT, Nissin, Axcelis) on technical issues, new product introductions, and improvements Leading cross-functional initiatives relating to equipment and process interactions such as improving yield, reducing wafer loss, or other department metrics.
