AECOM is actively seeking a talented Environmental Remediation Project Manager with both internal and external responsibilities in Salt Lake City. Join us and make a positive impact in your community while working on rewarding projects! As part of this hybrid (office and remote) role, you will work directly with multiple Remediation Consulting program and project managers to achieve strategic objectives on major accounts. This role has both internal and external-facing responsibilities, with opportunity to apply and further develop project management and client development skills. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in both technical project roles and project management roles. Responsibilities for this position may also include: Prepare cost and technical proposals and change order requests in conjunction with program managers and client account managers. Lead or assist with other business development opportunities and activities. Oversee the preparation of work plans and organize project studies. Interface directly with technical project manager and project team to deliver projects on scope, schedule, and budget. Understand and incorporate client requirements in management of projects including commercial contract terms, change management process, financial performance KPIs, etc. Use client and AECOM prescribed tools to track and manage financial aspects of the projects. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and meet budgetary objectives, while adjusting project constraints based on financial analysis. Strong local and state regulatory experience with CERCLA and RCRA corrective action is preferred. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field and (4) four years of relevant environmental remediation experience and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education. US Citizen or US Permanent Resident. Sponsorship at this time and in the future will not be available for this position. This role is subject to a background check and Motor vehicle records check.
