Responsibilities

- Act as liaison between carriers and/or independently contracted drivers, customers, and company personnel to resolve service issues, routing and/or planning, mechanical problems, accessorial pay-related issues, etc. as they occur throughout the day and, where necessary, when on call
- Maintain the Company's safety culture by complying with external & internal regulations, policies, and procedures
- Learn to assign loads and plan, route, and monitor freight movement to provide safe, on-time service and meet customer requirements, including managing exceptions based on pick-up and delivery schedules, and other environmental factors on the road
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED WITH 1-2 years of experience in transportation/logistics, business administration, account management, and/or equivalent military experience AND the ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed
- AND/OR Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiences:
- Strong professional communication skills applied internally and externally
- Proven experience in establishing and maintaining healthy working relationships
- Experience in fostering strong customer relationships via delivery of commitments, open communication, and ongoing feedback/improvement
- Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy
- Accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment
- Experience in Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Ability to consistently travel to account and customer locations
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and shifting priorities and directives
- Experience in holding people accountable and conducting difficult conversations
- Ability to perform in a stressful and high-pressure work environment
- Bachelors in Business Administration, Transportation/Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field AND 1 year of experience in transportation/logistics, business administration, account management, and/or equivalent military experience
- Shift:
- Friday 6AM-5PM; Saturday & Sunday 7AM-6PM; Monday 6AM-5PM
