The Electrical Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing processes within the Nuclear Power Generation manufacturing department, focusing on improving efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness by analyzing production methods, equipment, and materials, often collaborating with other departments to identify and implement improvements across nuclear product lines. Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities Process/product mastery and ownership Day-to day shop floor support Manufacturing traveler/router creation and modification Manufacturing equipment selection and implementation Disposition of non-conforming product and equipment Product and process failure analysis and troubleshooting Fixturing design and implementation Manufacturing procedure creation, modification, and associated operator training Engineering change management Capital Equipment project justifications, submissions and management Manufacturing process and quality control through collaboration with operators, data collection, and trend tracking Manufacturing process audits Purchasing manufacturing tooling and consumables Scrap reduction through process improvement projects Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college required At least 4 years of experience preferred in Manufacturing, Process Engineering or other Electrical/Electronic Engineering based positions).
