Assistant Manager - POMEC

About the role

Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical and building systems information. Ensure that all daily operations are executed by the team in a high quality and timely fashion. Considerable knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems with the ability to analyze their design and performance. Knowledge and appreciation of landscaping. Ability to remain calm in emergency situations and to effectively deal with internal and external customers. Assist with disciplining, counseling and training staff. Communicates effectively with government officials to ensure proper maintenance of permits and license, coordinating inspections with the appropriate departments. Work closely with other departments in order to ensure that all requirements are executed in a timely fashion and lead to internal and external guest satisfaction. Manage projects involving landscaping, electrical, mechanical and general construction, repair and maintenance of existing facilities and equipment. Manage operation of the hotel's utilities. Maintain accurate records and monitor for anomalies. Effectively administer Preventative Maintenance platform. Effectively administer time & attendance process for POMEC. Ensure that quality control checks have been completed and approved prior to sign off on any project. Bachelor's Degree or Associate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Ability to work cohesively as part of a team Service focused personality is essential Must be able to effectively handle competing demands via prioritising.
