Essential Duties & Responsibilities Production underwriter manager leads the risk selection and distribution management development to allow production underwriters to own the results of their book of business. Production uw managers will be compensated on profitable growth of their book of business. A production underwriter manager sets goals and objectives for the UW to maintain balance between distribution and risk selection to drive profitable growth. A production underwriting has agent/broker relationships. Engage in activities to generate submissions Maintain and lead the relationship with their assigned agents. Engage in activities to close accounts. Will have a book of business to maintain touch with the market.
