Senior Mechanic - Heavy Commercial Vehicles

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess accident-damaged heavy commercial vehicles.
• Repair and replace damaged mechanical components.
• Carry out dismantling and reassembly of vehicle parts.
• Perform chassis alignment, structural repairs, and welding work where required.
• Diagnose and repair engine, suspension, steering, brake, and drivetrain systems affected by collisions.
• Conduct final quality and safety inspections before vehicle delivery.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy commercial vehicle accident repair.
• Possess a valid Class 3 Driving Licence .
• Welding certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of heavy commercial vehicle structures and repair techniques.
• Ability to read repair specifications and work independently.
• Good teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy commercial vehicle accident repair . The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing accident-damaged trucks, buses, and other heavy commercial vehicles, ensuring they are restored to safety and manufacturer standards.
