About the role

You will serve as a ASSISTANT NUCLEAR PRODUCTION MANAGER in the NUCLEAR PRODUCTION MANAGER, OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: * Experience planning and executing large scale projects associated with the nuclear work of maintaining, overhauling, and repairing nuclear submarines. * Experience completing nuclear production projects within budget, manpower and time restraints. * Experience scheduling work and assigning tasks to complete large projects on assigned ships. * Experience communicating effectively both orally and in writing. * Experience with processes pertaining to submarine overhaul and repair.
