About the role
๐ Location : Medan, Indonesia As an Area Manager for Food Services (FS) and HoReCa in Medan, you will be responsible for driving sales, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring market growth in the Food Services (Industrial & Operator) and HoReCa sectors. You will implement best practices in FMCG to optimize sales strategies, enhance customer engagement, and strengthen distribution channels.
Responsibilities
- Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers, especially in Food Services (Industrial & Operator) and HoReCa.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their requirements.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and targeted outreach.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
- Analyze the territory/market's potential, track sales, and provide status reports.
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, market trends, competitive activities, and opportunities for new products/services.
- Keep abreast of best practices in FMCG for Food Services and HoReCa, including pricing strategies, trade promotions, and route-to-market optimization.
- Continuously improve through feedback and performance analysis.
- Who We're Looking For
- Proven work experience as a sales representative or area manager in the FMCG industry, specifically in Food Services and HoReCa.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with BRM and CRM practices.
- Ability to build productive business relationships and manage key accounts.
- Highly motivated and target-driven, with a proven track record in sales.
- Ability to create and deliver tailored presentations based on audience needs.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
- BS/BA degree or equivalent.
