About the role
We're looking for an experienced Delivery Manager who can keep teams moving and projects on track while helping shape how we plan and ship across our enterprise system. You'll be the person who turns ambiguity into clear priorities, removes blockers before they slow people down, and keeps stakeholders aligned on what's coming and when. This is a role for someone who thrives on coordination and communication, comfortable balancing the realities of a large, evolving codebase with the needs of the business, and energised by helping a delivery team do its best work. What You'll Own Delivery across your client portfolio. Coordinate the work for two or more clients across one or more teams - planning, sequencing, and keeping delivery on track against commitments. Deployments and releases. Own the schedule and the coordination of go-lives, releases, and changes, working with the pods and with our Infrastructure/Platform team. Work distribution and flow. Make sure work is well-defined, prioritised, and flowing - and that engineers aren't blocked, overloaded, or context-switching unnecessarily. Client communication on delivery. Be the dependable point of contact for clients on status, timelines, scope, and expectations. Surface risk early and honestly. Risk and dependency management. See blockers and dependencies coming, escalate clearly, and drive them to resolution. Delivery rhythm and governance. Run the cadences that keep delivery visible - stand-ups, planning, status reporting - at a weight appropriate to the client, not ceremony for its own sake. Partner on onboarding. Work hand-in-hand with Client Implementation on new client go-lives, with a clear handoff between getting a client live and steady-state delivery. Protect the shared-context model. Coordinate in a way that keeps people moving across the system rather than fencing them into a single client. About INTX INTX is the South African engineering team behind INTX's enterprise insurance platform - the core software insurers run their business on, spanning policy administration, underwriting, claims, and billing. We build and run this for a portfolio of clients alongside our US-based parent. Our engineers work in small teams, each looking after one or two clients. [3]+ years coordinating software delivery - as a delivery manager, project manager, scrum master, or a lead who genuinely owned getting work shipped (not just attending stand-ups). A track record of landing delivery with clients on time while keeping the relationship healthy. Exceptional organisation and communication - you bring order to moving parts and keep everyone, including clients, clear on where things stand. Confident and credible client-facing : comfortable owning the conversation, including the difficult ones about scope and timelines. Enough technical literacy to understand deployments, releases, and dependencies, and to talk credibly with engineers and clients - without needing to write the code yourself. Calm under pressure; good judgement on when to escalate and when to absorb. Comfortable working with a distributed, US-based parent company , including some overlap with US hours. Nice to Have Experience in insurance, fintech, or another regulated domain. Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery, and certifications such as Scrum / PMP / PRINCE2 (useful, not required). Experience in a client/implementation or software-services model where teams deliver per-client. Flexi Hours - Core hours are 10:00 - 15:00 Hybrid - 2 days' work from home Weekly Happy Hour - 14:00 - 15:00 on Fridays Company Socials - Once a month at the end of the month Complimentary Energy Drinks - Monster Energy drinks provided in-office Remote Working Days - 10 days per year Annual Leave - 22 days per year
