Responsibilities

• As a Coatings Operator , you'll be part of our Stanley Black & Decker team located in East Longmeadow, MA. You'll get to:
• Responsibilities include process troubleshooting and running of auxiliary equipment. Responsibilities include loading / unloading of tools, start-up and monitoring of processes, basic maintenance of machines that include blasting, cleaning and general site maintenance.
• Fixturing and loading of parts
• Cleaning / preparation of chamber
• Loading / unloading of parts
• General maintenance of parts, vacuum chambers and related equipment
• Monitoring of process cycles
• Other related work
• Climate:
• Demanding, fast-paced position resulting from deadline pressures, simultaneous competing demands and changing priorities. The right candidate will have be a high energy person with an eye for detail.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude is a must
• Knowledge of vacuum tech / basic knowledge of physics is a major consideration for the job
• Ability to work flexible hours is a must
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
