About the role

We are looking for a high-impact Account Manager to develop and expand our most critical relationships within the Financial Services Strategics sector . In this role, you'll be expected to collaborate with a team of account executives and customer success managers to ensure clients are seeing long term success with our product and help expand our footprint within each client account. Operating as a trusted advisor, Account Managers engage stakeholders from daily users to senior executives within the world's most sophisticated investment banks, asset managers, and hedge funds. Success is measured by your ability to protect and expand revenue. You will carry targets tied to Gross Dollar Retention (GDR) and Net Dollar Retention (NDR). In addition to driving retention and growth, you will bring client insights back to product, marketing, and sales to influence company strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Ownership & Retention
  • Own renewals end-to-end, including strategy, forecasting, timing, and execution
  • Identify risk early and drive mitigation plans decisively with internal partners
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, disciplined account plans, and clear next steps
  • Growth & Expansion
  • Identify and drive expansion opportunities by building conviction around value and outcomes
  • Partner with Account Executives to execute upsell motions within existing clients through sourcing pipeline
  • Increase adoption by aligning AlphaSense to real client workflows and priorities
  • Value Delivery & Executive Engagement
  • Ensure AlphaSense delivers sustained value throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Lead focused, outcome-driven executive conversations and business reviews
  • Build multi-threaded relationships across users, decision-makers, and sponsors
  • Internal Collaboration & Execution
  • Move quickly and stay aligned across Sales, Customer Success, Product, RevOps, and Support
  • Maintain a high bar for CRM hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and follow-through
  • Prioritize relentlessly across a demanding book of business.
