About the role
Department Student Success is part of the Student Education and Experience Directorate, and brings together teams with a focus on inclusive education, disability inclusion, student partnerships and widening participation. Student Success includes the following teams: Disability Services Inclusive Education Apprenticeships Digital Accessibility Access and Participation Monitoring and Evaluation Role Joining the Inclusive Education Team you will contribute to the delivery of academic student success projects as part of the University's Access and Participation Plan (APP). Key areas of work include the No Gaps project, decolonising and diversifying the curriculum, inclusive assessment and feedback, inclusive curriculum and pedagogies, and building student-led learning communities. You will have a commitment to student partnerships and to working collaboratively with academic departments to develop inclusive learning, teaching and assessment approaches. Skills, Experience & Qualification needed Knowledge and understanding of inclusive learning, teaching and assessment principles, pedagogic approaches and current research within an HE environment. Knowledge of co-production principles and/or models and approaches to working with students as partners. Ability to develop and deliver pedagogic guidance and support on inclusive learning, teaching and assessment principles and approaches to academic staff across a range of subjects. Ability to manage, monitor and evaluate education and student experience projects.
