Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Alternatives in sourcing and identifying new alternative investment opportunities , contributing to the expansion and enhancement of current portfolios.

- Collaborate with investment operations, technology, and data teams to improve transparency, efficiency, and automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field; MBA, CFA, or progress toward CFA is strongly preferred.
- 10 + years of investment experience in alternatives assets (e.g., private equity, private credit, real estate, hedge funds, infrastructure, etc.) investment management, ideally within an insurance company, asset manager, or consulting environment.
- Experience in portfolio construction, external asset manager research and selection , leading due diligence, and investment monitoring , benchmarking, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of global capital markets with an understanding of foreign markets .
- Familiarity with regulatory and accounting frameworks for insurance portfolios (e.g., NAIC, GAAP, and statutory accounting).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present complex concepts and ideas to senior leaders and build effective working relationships across both internal teams and external partners .
