Responsibilities

  • Management of Direct commodity parts (to be allocated after onboard)
  • Commodity strategy development and execution
  • Manage spend and sourcing - administration of RFQs to support strategies and benchmarking
  • Actively participate within team activities among engineering, material management, manufacturing engineering and quality to establish strategies and actions aiming for best value for the company
  • Problem solving and negotiation with suppliers including engagement and escalation process to the Global Supply Chain Management Organization.
  • Development and launch of new suppliers
  • Identify sustainable cost saving opportunities and drive to implementation in accordance with corporate goals and objectives
  • Our requirements:
  • Bachelor degree ( Economics, Engineering or equivalent field ~ Preference)
  • Minimum 2 -3 years of experience in Purchasing within international production company (preferably in automotive industry)
  • English language skills minimum at intermediate level
  • Analytical skills (MS Office/SAP),
  • High communication / negotiation / collaboration skill with internal and external stakeholders
  • Positive attitude to learn and face challenges, thinking outside of the box, team player
  • Time management skills with ease to understand and establish priorities
  • Availability for travel abroad
