Competitive compensation and benefitsFlexible working hoursProfessional onboarding and training optionsCareer coaching and development opportunitiesHealth benefits401(k)Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer I is responsible forThis position is part of the Quality Engineering team located in Ames, Iowa, and will be on-site.In this role, a typical day will look like:Perform data analysis and problem-solving activities to support customer complaints and internal nonconformancesSupport design of experiments (DOE) and validation activities for product and process improvementsMaintain change orders for products and proceduresSupport validation of materials, processes, and equipmentContribute to Quality Management System (QMS) processes, including CAPA, SCAR, document control, and internal auditsCollaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to support continuous improvementThe essential requirements of the job include:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, or a related technical fieldExperience in quality, engineering, or manufacturing environments (preferred)Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or FDA 21 CFR 820)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentationFamiliarity with statistical analysis or problem-solving toolsUS ONLY :The compensation range for this role is $53,000 - $70,000 USD per year.
