Discover more via our website. Your next career opportunity You will design, run and analyse advanced mass spectrometry experiments across diverse biomedical research projects. You will quickly master multiple LC-MS platforms, then teach and mentor users to run their own analyses. You will gain broad exposure to cutting-edge methods while contributing directly to publications and grant-winning science. What you will deliver: Design, execute and interpret quantitative and discovery mass spectrometry experiments for a wide range of projects. Train researchers in sample preparation, instrument operation and data analysis, building their independence on LC-MS systems. Troubleshoot and maintain nano and regular flow HPLC and mass spectrometers to ensure reliable, high quality data. Adopt emerging mass spectrometry methodologies, optimise workflows, and contribute to reports, publications and grant applications. Support day to day facility operations, including laboratory organisation, compliance, meetings, and engagement with Bio21 committees. You may be a great fit if you: Hold a completed or near complete PhD in chemistry, biochemistry or related bioscience, with mass spectrometry background. Bring well developed skills in biomolecular sample preparation, purification, and enrichment for high sensitivity LC-MS analysis. Operate, optimise and troubleshoot high end HPLC and LC-MS systems in a research or core facility environment. Analyse complex datasets using tools such as Proteome Discoverer, DIA-NN, Spectronaut, LipidSearch, R or MATLAB. Demonstrate strong planning, documentation and scientific writing skills, including experience drafting manuscripts and technical reports.
