Join our workshop in Shrewsbury, MA as a Topworks Assembler Our winning team is built by continuous investment in skills development, leadership and well-being. We have an opening at our Shrewsbury, MA facility as an Assembler. The Topworks position is responsible for a variety of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and procedural tasks. Work is generally focused on identifying the components and mounting actuators and switches to valves. They must also test completed package and process the assembly according to work order instructions and applicable specifications. Read work orders and verify that correct parts were selected according to "picklist" and note special instructions. Lookup/print applicable specifications and drawings using ICN. Uses a variety of hand tools, pneumatic, electric, power supplies, etc. May work with electric actuators that require connection to 230VAC power. Most assemblies require mounting actuator/manual gear to valve and setting proper open/close position of valve using actuator stop screws. Mount switches, filter regulators and solenoids to assembly according to work order specifications. Rig components and completed assemblies safely, putting slings in correct position. Find center of gravity when lifting completed assemblies so as not to damage product. Responsible for quality of products.
