Responsibilities

  • To raise the appropriate Plant Maintenance Orders on an on-going daily basis to facilitate any work on the network.
  • To raise and process within appropriate timescales the relevant paperwork to allow the raising of road opening notices/permits, e.g. within 2 hours of us starting to excavate on a fault.

  • Responsible for dealing with faults and emergency overflow calls from the DCC to aid appropriate metrics.

The role also involves managing and processing fault-related plant maintenance orders and scopes, supporting accurate cost allocation and timely payment. In addition, it provides an efficient and effective support service to coordinate all activities associated with the repair of HV and LV faults within the Operations function, while also handling fault and emergency overflow calls from the DCC to ensure timely response and support the achievement of key operational performance metrics.
