Responsibilities
- Work closely with the team leader, project manager, and customer to understand job requirements and support successful project execution.
- Assist with the installation of building automation and temperature control systems, including conduit, enclosures, wiring, and end devices.
- Use hand tools and follow control drawings, blueprints, plans, and specifications to complete assigned installation and repair tasks.

- Complete required job paperwork accurately and on time, including daily time, progress updates, and service documentation.
- Keep current on company products and develop knowledge of direct digital control systems and installation practices.
- Inspect and help maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment by monitoring condition, wear, and service needs.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures while maintaining security, accountability, and proper records for company-issued and procured assets.
- Support a team-focused work environment by remaining flexible to work overtime, weekends, regular travel, and occasional overnight stays as business needs require.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent required. Technical School or formal training is preferred.
- Typically, at least 2-5 years of experience in HVAC or BAS installation.
- Knowledge of low voltage electricity, electronics (board level troubleshooting), direct digital controls, and building control techniques.
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with handheld computers (i.e. Smartphone, iPad).
- Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
