Job Details Under the general direction of the Manager, Medical Staff Credentialing, coordinates the credentialing and re-credentialing of Medical, Dental, Podiatric Staff/Moonlighters/Advanced Practice Professionals and coordinates specific projects. Job Description PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Meets all standards of the Patient Satisfaction Initiative Criteria in order to make AH the hospital of choice for Patients and Employees. Coordinates the "credentialing" and "reappointment" of Medical, Dental, and Podiatric staff/ Moonlighters/ Advanced Practice Professionals, which includes but is not limited to the preparation and completion of credentialing folders with queries of appropriate national and state data banks to ensure individuals remain in compliance with Hospital, Medical Staff, State and Regulatory guidelines. Assists other medical staff coordinators in working with the medical staff president, responsible for agendas, minutes, and follow up of Medical Staff and APP meetings and COS mailings to ensure effective bi-directional communication. Coordinates specific projects, as requested, to assist the department/organization attain goals. Provides assistance to the COS office with general clerical duties and to support the COS team.
