Role Overview: Our Project Executive oversees the financial and operational success of the building process, working in partnership with Architects, Engineers, and Owners to support the development of the plans. They identify and plan all the moving parts and are responsible for ensuring the project is completed on budget and within scope. Their experience leading others, building teams, and getting the most out of the project team is paramount to their success. The PX is also responsible for pursuing and developing new business, as well as building and strengthening new and existing client relationships. Role & Responsibilities: Financial Management : Manage project budgets, work-in-place and earnings forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring profitability while mitigating risks and controlling costs. Contracts Management and Negotiations : Develop a strong understanding of the Prime contract from the project onset, manage negotiations and administration of contract as needed, ensure compliance with contractual obligations, and resolve disputes effectively. Manage Purchasing and Buyout : Using strong negotiation skills, establish the appropriate purchasing plan, and makes solid and timely decisions for the company and the project during the buyout process. Understand Master Subcontractor Agreements critical language and negotiate those only with approval of Division President. Strategic Execution : Implement strategic goals at the project and market level to achieve Catamount's broader growth goals and exceed client expectations. Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities, collaborating with BD Managers and professionals to secure new projects and expand Catamount's client base. Project Oversight : Provide oversight and guidance to project teams, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with quality standards. Ensure project teams adhere to Operations Absolutes. Client and Partner Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong client, subcontractor and partner relationships, understanding their needs, expectations, and addressing concerns as they arise throughout the project lifecycle. Risk Management : Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, implementing strategies to minimize disruptions and maintain project success. Hold self and others accountable to following critical operational processes and addressing risks head-on. Quality Assurance : Ensure conformity with contract documents and scope of work, as well as address issues of underperformance if it arises. Project Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement. Coaching and Mentoring : Lead team coaching and mentoring. Identify gaps and opportunities for coaching, mentoring and training and lead efforts to provide necessary education. Preconstruction: Develop operational strategies, phasing plans, and project schedules that support the preconstruction effort. Maintain lead for operational oversight and interaction with the preconstruction team. Lead and participate in preconstruction efforts on appropriate opportunities. Supervisory responsibilities : Responsible for hiring and developing project team members (e.g., Project Managers and Engineers, Superintendents, and others as deemed appropriate). Travel: Travel will fluctuate depending upon project locations. However, must be comfortable traveling 3-4 times per month
