Collections Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage daily AR operations and supervise a team of Collections Coordinators
• Monitor and drive collection efforts to ensure timely payment and reduce aging balances
• Track and report on key metrics such as collections, aging, and productivity
• Provide coaching, feedback, and support to improve team performance
• Partner with attorneys to follow up on outstanding balances and resolve issues
• Review reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
• Ensure consistent application of collections policies and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
• 5-8 years of experience in collections or revenue cycle management, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
• Prior team lead or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong understanding of AR processes and collections strategies
• Experience with collections systems (Aderant or similar a plus)
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• For the New Jersey, the expected salary range for this position is between $113,750 and $149,250. This position is also eligible for annual bonuses. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
