Responsibilities

  • Lead regulatory review across central and state developments affecting renewable energy and energy transition.
  • Oversee analysis of CERC/SERC orders and regulations (tariff, open access , DSM, grid code, connectivity) and synthesize implications.
  • Guide workstreams on energy storage, green hydrogen, biogas, small hydro and pumped storage, and relevant policy/regulatory reforms.

  • Specific experience: Experience of working with central or state regulators
  • Preferred competencies / skills:
  • Strong grasp of Indian power sector regulation and market reforms.
  • Excellent synthesis and drafting skills for government-ready briefs.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and maintain delivery cadence.
  • High stakeholder credibility and diplomacy.
