About the role

You will serve as a PCS PROGRAM SPECIALIST in the Office of the Deputy Director Operational Support (DDOS), Human Resources Directorate (10), 10D Section of NCIS. All Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) positions are in the excepted service. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: GS-12: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: -Experience researching travel regulations to provide advice to management and employees on PCS entitlements and allowances; -Experience developing PCS orders for accuracy in accordance with federal travel regulations; and conducting PCS counseling sessions. GS-11: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: -Experience researching and assisting with the interpretation of travel regulations to provide advice and guidance; and assisting with the creation of PCS orders in accordance with travel regulations.
