Safety Coordinator

Requirements

• WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant construction or utilities experience preferred
• Experience in underground cable, civil works, excavation, or road works will be an advantage
• Familiar with Risk Assessment, Safe Work Procedures, Permit-to-Work, toolbox meetings, and site safety documentation
• Able to work at project sites, including night works or weekend works when required
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Main Duties:
• Conduct daily site safety inspections
• Carry out toolbox meetings and safety briefings
• Ensure compliance with Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• Monitor excavation, lifting, traffic control, cable laying, and machinery activities
• Maintain WSH records and safety documentation
• Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions
• Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, clients, and authorities on safety matters
• Entry level (1-3 years): $2,500 - $3,500
• Mid Level/ Senior (4+ Years): $4,000 - $5,500
