Responsibilities

  • Lead the purification of bispecific antibody biologics to support critical research assays and studies
  • Champion the selection, integration and application of advanced in silico tools to optimize complex protein separation
  • Leverage Design of Experiments (DOE) with high throughput automation to evaluate and refine key process parameters to improve protein separation efficiency
  • Design and execute advanced chromatography techniques and robust bioprocess development strategies to address production liabilities and enable process scalability.

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Bioinformatics, Biophysics, Chemical Engineering, or related field with typically 10+ years (BS), 8+ years (MS), or 0+ years (PhD) of experience
  • Deep proficiency in large-scale bioprocessing, column chromatography, and automated liquid handling platforms
  • Proven expertise applying computational tools and predictive modelling to support bioprocess development for bispecific antibodies
  • Experience with DOE methodologies and application to multivariate analysis
  • Skilled in software systems and/or programming languages, such as Unicorn, Empower, Python/CADET-Process, GoSilico, ASPEN Chromatography, Matlab, JMP, Minitab, Genedata Chromatics, or SDMS platforms
  • Experience with data extraction API, ETL tools and LIMS platforms for data acquisition, integration, and management across multiple analytical platforms is a plus
  • Strong understanding of molecular and post-translational attributes of biologics
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills
