Lead Regional Dispatch Center Specialist

About the role

You will serve as a Lead Regional Emergency Response Dispatcher in the Emergency Management Department of COMMANDER NAVY REGION HAWAII. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Processing and recording pertinent data for incoming emergency and non-emergency calls and dispatching the appropriate responding fire, ambulance and police units.2. Knowledge and experience operating 9-1-1 systems to include Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), radio dispatch equipment, recording devices and multi-function telephones.3. Possess a strong foundation in emergency dispatching, demonstrating critical decision making and skills that support effective communication and multi-tasking.
