Requirements

• Applicants must have completed a 4-year Honours BA degree in Visual Arts, Art History, or Visual Culture.
• Applicants must have completed a minimum of three credits in art history and/or visual culture, or equivalent,
• with at least an 80% average in those courses.
• The successful applicant must have effective communication skills including the ability to explain subject material to students, be punctual in attending classes, and be able to meet appropriate deadlines .
• Must be available to attend all synchronous online lectures and be available for online synchronous course support.

Focus on the visual arts from prehistory through the early 20th century. Note: TA contract for this course will be 60 hours . Department: Department of Visual Art - History of Art and Visual Culture Schedule: Fall Term (Duration 2) Monday and Wednesday 1000 - 1130 Delivery Method: SYNCH A fully online synchronous course is a conferencing learning environment that is delivered remotely through audio and video conferencing to provide simultaneous communications (i.e., at the same time) between an instructor at one site and students at other sites. A course is considered to be offered via synchronous conferencing if 80% or more of the content is delivered in this way. As such, a synchronous conferencing course may have occasional face-to-face meetings, a proctored exam, etc. , with the remainder of the content delivered through audio and video conferencing.
