Data & Recon Team Lead (Reference Data Focus)

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 5-10, driving performance against KPIs
• Oversee reconciliation across 2-3 markets and ensure data accuracy and completeness
• Own and resolve complex reference data discrepancies across multiple data sources
• Monitor team output (including client communications) to ensure quality and timeliness
• Partner with custodians, asset managers, and internal teams to resolve data issues
• Identify and implement process improvements, including automation and auto-recon enhancements
• Lead 1-2 strategic initiatives annually aligned with business priorities

Requirements

• 7+ years in investment operations, reconciliation, or data management
• 5+ years leading operational teams
• Strong reference data experience required
• Proven ability to solve complex data issues and improve processes at scale
• Data-driven mindset with strong communication and leadership skills
• Hands-on leadership with a focus on team development and accountability
• Ownership mindset around data quality and client outcomes
• Ability to operate both strategically and in the details
