Lead IT Business Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Lead IT Business Architect to join our team in Oak Brook, IL. In this role, you will partner closely with IT and Supply Chain & Operations Finance to design and deliver innovative, scalable technology solutions that drive business performance. This is a highly visible, strategic role where you will blend deep SAP expertise with strong business acumen to improve processes, optimize systems, and support critical financial and operational capabilities. You'll work across cross-functional teams to lead complex initiatives-from solution design through implementation-while serving as a trusted advisor to both technical and business stakeholders. You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: Provide technical and functional expertise to identify, evaluate, and implement cost-effective system solutions aligned to business needs Analyze and challenge existing processes to drive efficiency and continuous improvement Configure and support SAP Product Cost Planning, including standard cost estimates Manage Cost Object Controlling, including production orders, process orders, and product cost collectors Implement and maintain Material Ledger and Actual Costing, including parallel and multi-currency valuation Support month-end and year-end close processes, including WIP calculations, variance analysis, and settlement activities Partner with cross-functional teams including Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), Finance (FI), and Sales & Distribution (SD) to ensure system integration and data accuracy Translate business requirements into functional specifications for RICEFW objects, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows Lead unit, integration, and user acceptance testing activities to ensure quality implementation of solutions Troubleshoot complex system issues and serve as a subject matter expert in SAP CO-PC Develop and support KPIs, reporting, and analytics to drive business insights and decision-making Influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment and execution Performs other duties as assigned Important Details: The anticipated compensation for this position ranges from $127,000 - 190,600 USD annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
