Responsibilities

  • As the Maintenance Group Leader, you will be responsible for a small to medium group of maintenance employees. You will manage the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities aligned with standard GM maintenance systems.

  • -Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar position.
  • -Maintenance experience, preferably in the automotive industry; highly valued in paint shop applications.
  • -Shift flexibility: Availability to work on rotating shifts (4x3 schedule).
  • -English proficiency: Intermediate conversational level, with ability to express complete technical ideas.
  • Technical expertise :
  • -Experience with industrial networks such as Ethernet/IP and DeviceNet
  • -Familiarity with Fanuc robots
  • Knowledge of electric motors and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), preferably Allen-Bradley.
  • -PLC programming and troubleshooting
  • -Experience in pneumatics, lubrication, hydraulics, mechanical systems, and power transmission components.
  • -Proven experience managing and leading maintenance personnel directly
  • Experience with seal application robots
  • -Knowledge of industrial conveyors (chain, roller table, elevators, overhead).
  • -Familiarity with RSNetWorx. and RSLinx communication tools.
