Responsibilities
- Conduct meticulous testing for the Operational Medicine Information Systems - Army (OMIS-A) Advanced Systems Engineering (ASE) projects, including:
- Patient Health Operational Electronic Network Information Exchange Medical (PHOENIXMed) electronic SF600 web app
- Health Assessment Light Operations (HALO) electronic SF600 Windows application
- Casualty Care (TC3) Android application
- JOMIS Healthcare Delivery (HCD) products
- Smart Card Electronic Information Carrier (EIC) utilities
- TeleConsultation
- Virtualization of the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application - Theater (AHLTA-T) and TMIP Composite Health Care System (CHCS) Cache (TC2) servers
- Provide support to CM engineering for testing, documentation, and delivery of change management products and post-deployment system support updates.
- Test software deployments and security patches in coordination with CM, Engineering, and Cyber teams.
- Establish, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Support and troubleshoot VMware ESXi host and virtual systems for application testing.
- Monitor and manage infrastructure systems supporting LAN and VPN environments.
- Perform root-cause analysis for service interruptions and implement preventive measures.
- Configure and maintain licensing, software, and firmware for switches, routers, firewalls, and servers.
- Establish and maintain system backups; ensure timely incident reporting and resolution.
- Provide subject matter expertise to leadership and collaborate cross-functionally with Cyber, Integration, and Test teams.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced PowerShell and Typescript code to automate AVD "Playwright Test Generator" operations.
- Create and maintain local GITLAB System Image for localized Test Automation using Docker Desktop and NODE.JS.
- Implement new features and enhancements to existing systems, ensuring alignment with project requirements and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop robust, scalable, and secure software solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Debug and resolve software defects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Key Projects and Capabilities:
- Lead implementation and lifecycle maintenance of ARMY GITLAB Test & Integration Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments to deliver secure, automated software testing.
- Provide technical mentoring and knowledge transfer to teammates; assist leadership with risk identification, tracking, and mitigation.
Requirements
- Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of relatable experience.
- Active Secret clearance
- Proven experience in system engineering, software testing, and software development.
- Strong understanding of electronic health record systems and military health operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Desired:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Certification in system engineering or software testing (e.g., CSEP, CSTE).
- Able to obtain IAT Level II certification (eg. Security+, CCNA, CySA+)
- Experience with military or government projects.
