Role Objective We are currently seeking a "Program Manager - BI Analytics(Role 6M)" to manage Analytics & BI Development processes. This is a hands-on technical and People Manager role. This position requires that the candidate be a skilled on Power BI, Advance Excel, TSQL, Tableau and support on Reporting and Analytics applications. The candidate needs to have strong technical knowledge and be very structured and analytical in his/her approach. Essential Technical Duties and Responsibilities 8+ years- experience where primary responsibility involves advanced Power BI report design and development. Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop. Drive the development and analysis of data, reporting automation, Dash boarding, and business intelligence programs. should have solid understanding of SSIS (ETL) with strong SQL & PL SQL Should have knowledge and skills for Cloud Computing such as Microsoft Azure Should understand Python and different libraries - Pandas, Numpy, etc Would be supporting in consulting engagement and should be able to articulate and architect the solution effectively to bring-in the values which data analytics & visualization solution can deliver. Excellent communication skills and ability to translate the complex to simple and easier terms for business leaders and users of data. Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop. In-depth understanding of database management systems and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework Good knowledge/expertise on different versions of Microsoft Sql Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2017, 2020 Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence. Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set. Responsible for design methodology and project documentation. Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards. Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements. Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources. Essential People Manager Duties and Responsibilities At least 5 + years' experience in People Leadership of atleast a team of minimum 10 Users. Accomplishes department objectives by supervising staff and organizing and monitoring work processes. - Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees and developing personal growth opportunities through IDPs, 9 Blocker, SWOT Analysis and Bell Curve - Accomplishes staff job results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees. - Plans, monitors, and appraises job results. - Conducts training. - Implements and enforces systems, policies, and procedures. - Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards and adhering to legal regulations. - Completes operations by developing schedules, assigning, and monitoring work, gathering resources, implementing productivity standards, resolving operations problems, maintaining reference manuals, and implementing new procedures. - Controls expenses by gathering and submitting budget information, scheduling expenditures, monitoring variances, and implementing corrective actions. - Provides quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards. - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
