This position as a Cocktail Server is for a passionate food service individual who will provide an exceptional experience to our guests. Maintain complete knowledge of designated glassware and garnishes for each drink. Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons and drunk driving. Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, proper table set ups, room capacity, hours of operation, menus, price range and dress code of assigned outlet. Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies. Keep bank secure at all times. Maintain complete knowledge of P.O.S. (MICROS) and manual systems High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate. Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages. 1-year experience as a Cocktail Server, Food Server or Host/Hostess. Fluency in English, both verbal and non-verbal. Experience in bartending and handling cash. Certification in an alcohol awareness program. Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service. Food handling certificate & TABC. Certification of CPR an asset Provide legible communication. Ability to input and access information in the property management system/computers/point of sales system. Compute basic arithmetic.
