About the role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to grow a specialist line of business with a strong focus on Veeam , covering Romania and the Republic of Moldova . In this role, you will work closely with partners and vendors to develop new business, support the full sales cycle, and build long-term relationships. You will help partners understand and successfully sell data protection and backup solutions, while increasing market share and overall business performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow partner accounts within the assigned vendor and technology area
- Support the full sales cycle , including new partner onboarding
- Drive new business opportunities and increase market share
- Build strong relationships with partners and vendors
- Create clear value propositions based on customer needs
- Support large deals , pipeline development, and weekly forecasting
- Promote vendor solutions internally and externally
- Work closely with Sales, FSE, and Marketing teams
- Support deal negotiations , pricing, and rebates
- Participate in regular vendor meetings to align on plans and performance
Requirements
- Experience in the IT industry , ideally in business development, sales, or product marketing
- Good understanding of data protection and data backup solutions
- Experience working with IT vendors (Veeam knowledge is a strong plus)
- Proven ability to develop accounts and grow partner relationships
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently in an external-facing role
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
- Fluent English and Romanian
