WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE Project Planning and Strategy: Develop a comprehensive project plan and manage the delivery of all SAP BODS interfaces. Define project goals, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation. Managing minor enhancements, medium to large projects or part of bigger programmes that affect the other specific processes/technology areas. Proposing the priority and sequence of changes linked to specific releases and working with the Release Management organisation to agree these. Managing & Tracking project delivery costs and Cross charging, Timesheet reviews, Vendor contracts, people management etc Budget management and tracking spends. Hold vendors accountable for project deliverables, weekly governances to track KPI's Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget with zero disruption to business Stakeholder Management: Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and external partners. Provide regular updates, manage communication, and address any issues or conflicts. Governance connects with finance stakeholders Technical Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the project team members. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Ensure the team has the necessary skills, resources, and support to deliver on project objectives. Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement: Develop a change management plan to address the impact of integration migration on the key business projects and other platform projects in pipeline. Engage stakeholders, communicate changes, and manage expectations. Risk Management and Issue Resolution: Identify and assess potential risks and issues related to the project. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Proactively address issues, resolve conflicts, and make informed decisions to keep the project on track. Escalate critical issues to appropriate stakeholders as needed. Documentation and Reporting: Create/Maintain comprehensive documentation for the new interfaces including design decisions, platform alignments, architecture diagrams, data mappings, and configuration settings etc. Ensure handover of all documentation when transitioning an interface from AD to AM Prepare regular progress reports and project status updates for stakeholders. Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and identify areas for improvement. Non-project related activities: In addition to the scope set out above, the Assistant Manager will be expected to: Generating and driving ideas for continuous improvement, simplification and reduced TCO in the existing system landscape Working with product vendors to identify product gaps and co-innovate on new features and bug fixes for integration platform. Developing relationships, with key stakeholders in the BP, Service, Key business owners, with strategic suppliers and 3rd party IT service providers to help both drive and share the knowledge base. WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED Experiences & Qualifications Core Technical Skills SAP BODS Components : Profound knowledge of Data Services Designer, Repositories (Local, Central, Profiler), Job Server, and Access Server.
