Responsibilities

  • Set up and arrange catering functions according to event orders and service standards. Break down and clean event spaces and return equipment and supplies to proper storage. Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, garnishing, and cleanliness.
  • Ensure catering orders are executed accurately according to BEOs, client expectations, and company standards.
  • Serve as Floor Lead by directing service flow, assigning tasks, and maintaining clear communication across culinary, catering, and management teams. Oversee the daily production area, coordinate deliveries, and assign duties to the catering team.
  • Provide professional, attentive service to guests and clients.
  • Communicate effectively with the catering team, kitchen staff, event contacts, and management.
  • Follow all sanitation and food safety procedures. Keep catering areas, equipment, and vehicles clean and organized.
  • Assist with administrative duties, including event documentation, inventory awareness, and timely communication with leadership.
  • Serve as a key contact with outside vendors for local food and equipment deliveries.
  • Assume Catering Group Leader responsibilities in their absence which includes end of month finance reports, team communication, guest communication, and event management.
  • Associate degree or certification/equivalent food service experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Industry Sanitation Certification (ANSI, FDA, or ServSafe) required.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, walk up to one mile, and stand for up to 4 hours consecutively.
  • Must possess and maintain valid driver's license
