  • What the role includes
  • Support and execute the communications strategy for all DF brands, aligning with business goals and enhancing brand visibility while ensuring consistent, engaging, and concise messaging.
  • Implement internal, external, and crisis communications strategies that align with company goals and strategic framework.
  • Manage relationships with PR agencies, media, influencers, and industry partners to secure coverage and handle press enquiries.
  • Lead influencer partnerships and create impactful campaigns that amplify event awareness, drive ticket sales, and enhance brand visibility through authentic content creation and targeted audience engagement.
  • Write and distribute press releases, website content, customer communications, media responses, and official statements while acting as the primary media contact.
  • Manage and deliver all event customer communications with clear, consistent, and concise messaging.
  • Liaise with journalists, reviewers, and photographers to arrange permission and passes for all DF events.
  • Coordinate in-person and remote (phone, zoom or email) interviews between artists and journalists.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and design team to produce engaging content for various channels and ensure consistent branding across all materials.
  • Craft engaging, targeted messages tailored to specific channels and audience segments.
  • Track and report on performance metrics, including media coverage, social media engagement, communication campaigns results, and influencer impact.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities and best practices in communications and live events to identify growth opportunities.
  • Attend live events to capture and create engaging content for use across various digital platforms.
  • Manage out-of-hours communication issues and represent the communications team in the Joint Agency Control Centre at summer events.

Job Summary: Company: DF Concerts and Events Department: Marketing & Communications Location: Glasgow, UK Reports to: Senior Communications Manager Working Hours: Full time plus additional event working as required Job Type: Permanent Role Description As our Communications & PR Executive, you will be responsible for crafting and delivering impactful communication strategies that elevate our brands, promote our events, engage and inform our fans. In this role, you will lead communication efforts, manage crisis communications and align messaging with our goals. You will collaborate with our internal team and external agencies to deliver impactful messaging and amplify our brand presence across various channels. What it's like to work in the Team The Marketing and Communications team at DF Concerts is made up of a diverse group of individuals, all sharing a passion for what they do in their roles. We have a helpful, open, and approachable nature which helps to build relationships within the team and the wider company and allows for collaborative working.
