Responsibilities
- As part of the Network Operations Center team, you'll ensure uninterrupted network performance while contributing to continuous operational improvements. It's a role with a lot of variety, and day-to-day, you'll mainly be involved with:
- Performing triage to determine severity, impact, and urgency of network incidents.
- Conducting advanced troubleshooting, complex problem analysis, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Validating routing protocol behavior, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP (route availability, adjacency states, and failover conditions).
- Independently troubleshooting and resolving LAN, WLAN, and access infrastructure issues across enterprise environments.
- Supporting technologies such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, RADIUS, and wireless networking environments.
- Working with large-scale NAT / carrier-grade NAT environments and load balancers
- Collaborating with engineering teams to resolve high-impact or complex issues.
- Managing and maintaining accurate incident tickets, documenting troubleshooting steps and findings.
- Ensuring SLA and KPI adherence throughout the incident lifecycle.
- Managing incidents and standard changes independently while identifying recurring issues and trends.
- Completing end-of-shift handovers in accordance with operational processes.
- Communicating clearly with internal teams and external stakeholders, translating technical concepts for varied audiences.
- Acting as an operations liaison between engineering teams and customer stakeholders.
Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, or equivalent experience
- CCNA-level networking knowledge required
- Proven experience troubleshooting enterprise LAN and WLAN environments
- Working knowledge of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
- Experience supporting DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, and related network services
- Strong proficiency in TCP/IP, IP addressing, SSH, and Telnet
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and make real-time decisions
- CCNP preferred
- Wireless certifications preferred
- Experience with NAT appliances, load balancers, or carrier-scale network environments
